LOC Credit Union Grand Opening Friday, January 20th

LOC Federal Credit Union in-school branch is opening for business next week!

Students who open an account or make a deposit on our opening day can participate in our snow ball game to win prizes.

This unique program will consist of a full-service LOC branch inside Hutchings Elementary, and is just like a real credit union, with one exception – the employees are fifth grade students. These fifth graders must apply and interview for their positions at the credit union. Not only does this program teach valuable skills to the students working the credit union, but gives students of all grade levels the chance to participate by opening accounts and saving money. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn and practice basic financial management and banking skills.

LOC Federal Credit Union at Hutchings will be open every Friday morning beginning January 20 at 11:15am. We highly encourage everyone to participate in the student-run credit union program. Account applications can be pick up during the credit union time or by visiting Hutchings Elementary website under the LOC Partnership tab.
