I just wanted to take a minute to let all our families know that we have many students in our class (and 1st grade as a whole) who have fallen ill. I want to say thank you for keeping your child home when he or she is ill. Just a reminder that if your child has a fever the district policy is that your child needs to be fever free without Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for a full 24 hours. So if your child goes home from school with a fever at 2:00 they have to be fever free until the following day at 2:00 and then he or she may return to school. I am so happy that we are fortunate to have families that follow this and I believe that is why we have been pretty healthy as a whole. Sending healthy thoughts to all!
