Water flows...downhill

Today the children made mountain models. They then observed the ice on top of the mountain melt. They made predictions of where they thought the melted water (liquid) would be. They were correct in the prediction of the water flowing downhill! It was awesome to see the children link what they learned last week to the new material today.

The children will be bringing home a scholastic news tonight and tomorrow night that is a magazine. The children have been learning about non fiction text elements, such as bold words and captions. Please have your child read the scholastic news to you (or read it to your child if they are not able to read it) and answer the questions on the back.
